Additionally, the project aims to promote long-term sustainability through capacity-building initiatives that empower local organizations and caregivers to continue support services beyond the project period.

Target Population

The project focuses on vulnerable children including HIV-exposed infants (HEI), children living with HIV (CLHIV), children of parents living with HIV (CPLHIV), and survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) and sexual violence against children (SVAC). • Improve community capacity to care for OVC with a focus on their rights.
  • Enhance organizational and technical capacities of CBOs/CSOs and governments to provide services.
  • Utilize priority services targeted at specific OVC sub-populations.
  • Strengthen advocacy efforts to secure policies and funding that benefit OVC programs.

Overview of Activities

The project also facilitated mentorship programs, vocational training, and peer support groups to address the diverse needs of the beneficiaries.
