HCSI and DHSP facilitated community meetings across Oredo and Egor LGAs, sensitizing over 1,500 community members on OVC rights and the services available to support them. Topics included health access, child protection laws, and household support systems. Feedback from attendees emphasized the need for more frequent engagements to build trust and awareness. Title: Capacity Building for CBOs and Local Governments Date: August 20, 2024 Body: A three-day workshop held in Lagos trained 20 representatives from local CBOs and state governments. The focus was on strengthening data collection systems and improving the response to child rights violations. Participants noted significant knowledge improvement, particularly in using data to plan interventions for CLHIV and other vulnerable groups.
